Disclaimer
K9 Delivery LLC is dedicated to providing the highest standards of care for every animal we transport.
Our team performs routine wellness checks, maintains fresh water availability, utilizes secure containment systems, and transports pets in climate-controlled vehicles monitored throughout transit. Because many animals transported through our services originate from shelters, rescues, fosters, or multi-state transfer programs, complete medical and behavioral histories are not always available. While we review provided documentation and require valid Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) when applicable, K9 Delivery LLC cannot guarantee the absence of undisclosed, unknown, congenital, contagious, behavioral, or pre-existing medical conditions.
By booking transport with K9 Delivery LLC, submitting a transport request, making payment, or tendering an animal for transport, the pet owner, foster, rescue representative, adopter, sender, receiver, or authorized agent acknowledges and agrees that:
• Animal transport involves inherent and unpredictable risks, including but not limited to stress, illness, injury, dehydration, escape, seizure, respiratory complications, cardiac events, unforeseen medical emergencies, transport-related complications, or death.
• We take every reasonable precaution to protect the safety and well-being of animals during transit; however, animals may react unpredictably despite reasonable care, monitoring, secure containment systems, and standard safety procedures.
• K9 Delivery LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing, undisclosed, unknown, congenital, contagious, or underlying medical or behavioral conditions, nor for complications arising from recent surgeries, illness progression, stress, environmental conditions, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
• K9 Delivery LLC shall not be held liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical failures, emergencies, veterinary needs, law enforcement activity, or other circumstances beyond company control.
• Any veterinary care required during transport may be sought as deemed reasonably necessary under the circumstances. All veterinary expenses, emergency care costs, medications, diagnostics, boarding fees, transportation costs, and related expenses remain the responsibility of the pet owner, foster, rescue, adopter, or authorized representative unless otherwise required by applicable insurance coverage or final legal determination.
• K9 Delivery LLC, including its owners, employees, drivers, contractors, and affiliates, shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, emotional, consequential, punitive, or special damages related to transport services.
• Any liability determined against K9 Delivery LLC shall be strictly limited to the amount paid directly to K9 Delivery LLC for the specific transport service provided, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• By utilizing our services, clients agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless K9 Delivery LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, attorney’s fees, or legal actions arising from the transported animal(s), including undisclosed medical or behavioral conditions or incidents occurring during or after transport, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• Submission of a booking request does not guarantee transport placement. Transport is considered confirmed only after approval by K9 Delivery LLC and receipt of payment or deposit arrangements.
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to make K9 Delivery LLC responsible for anything beyond what is required by law. By using our services, you agree that K9 Delivery LLC’s liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed under applicable law, including the laws of the State of Alabama.
